Donations for the 2020 Youth Events

At all three regular season state events, PA Bass Nation will be accepting donations for the Youth/High School program. Ernie and Phil, our youth/high school tournament directors, are always in need of giveaways for his events. This is a perfect way to help out and give something back and help out the kids in our organization. There will be a donation bin at all three events.  We will be accepting donated items such as rods and reels, baits and line, t-shirts and hats, etc. – really anything fishing related that can be used as a giveaway.
Thanks in advance for supporting our youth and high school program.

Mingo Creek Anglers Help With Youth Event

Mingo Creek Anglers Help out with South Park Youth Outdoors Day

On May 18, 2017, third graders from South Park School District had a event at Peters Creek in Jefferson Hills with 10 stations set up for the kids to visit. As the students moved through each station, the presenters were given 10 to 15 minutes to speak to each group. Mingo Creek Anglers were on hand to help with this event. They took a bass boat down for the kids to see and were able to give a short talk to the kids about bass fishing and PA B.A.S.S. Nation. In all, about 180 students took part in this event. All the students loved seeing the bass boat and they asked a ton of questions. What a great way to get the next generation excited for fishing!
